Dear Saul Leiter
“Not everybody trusts paintings but people believe photographs.” ― Ansel Adams It’s rare to snow in Tokyo and it’s even rarer to snow in Spring Equinox day, which is kind of an irony. Usually, snow (or rain) gives me a perfect reason to be lazy and stay at home, but I decided to go to Tokyo to photograph how it looks like to be in the city when snowing. Additionally, since I had seen Saul Leiter’s photographs in an exhibition last year, I’ve been inspired by his works; and I’ve always wanted to do street photography in a rainy/snowy day like he did.
