Entrepreneurship – Life Update

“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Hi international friends,

It’s been a while since I last updated my blog. Throughout the past month—and nearly all of this one—I’ve been inactive in terms of writing. If you’ve read my previous post, you probably have a general sense of what’s been going on. In short, I was caught in a work-related situation that left me drained, with little energy left for anything beyond my job.

As I now find myself approaching the end of March, I’ve taken a moment to reflect. I can’t say I’m completely satisfied with where I am, but I’m not entirely discontent either. If anything, I feel hopeful. Truthfully, I don’t hold a negative outlook for the future.

You see, life often exists in the gray zone—and that’s perfectly okay. For some reason, we tend to reduce outcomes to simple binaries: happy or unhappy, success or failure, black or white. But real life doesn’t operate in such extremes.

In reality, life is an ongoing process, constantly evolving. Even the most seemingly successful entrepreneur, at the height of their golden era, has an uncertain future. No one knows how the story ultimately unfolds.

Life is a long marathon. You’re not late. You’re not early. You’re right on time. Everything is unfolding as it should—trust yourself.

Financial independence:

In a world filled with uncertainty, cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset has become more essential than ever. Take my situation, for instance—I have a stable job, but with the rapid advancement of AI, I can’t say with confidence that my role will still exist five years from now.

That’s precisely why we need to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset—one that empowers us to take initiative, seek opportunities, and develop the motivation to generate income independently. It’s no longer just about job security; it’s about adaptability, creativity, and the drive to shape our own future.

Publishing a book:

Two months ago, I published a tech book on Amazon, inspired by my personal experience of building home network servers. I wanted to share the knowledge I had gained with others, and publishing on Amazon felt like a meaningful step toward achieving financial independence. Although I haven’t yet seen any profit from the book, I’m committed to promoting it however I can.

We often underestimate the value of our unique skills and experiences. In my case, I hope to eventually earn income through my Linux expertise. What’s especially remarkable is that the technologies I used to write this book—Ubuntu Server, Samba, and other tools—are all free and open-source. There’s something fascinating about the idea of generating income from skills developed entirely through the use of freely available software.

This is what I find so inspiring about the tech world.

Releasing an Android app:

Last year, I fulfilled a long-held dream of becoming an Android app developer. But rather than being the end of the journey, it marked the beginning—not just of my career, but of a deep and growing passion.

You see, many people spend their lives searching for happiness or a sense of purpose. I believe I’ve found mine—and it’s Android. I’ve always been fascinated by this mobile operating system. The world that unfolds behind a small screen feels boundless, and within that space, I find endless opportunities to explore and create. I could probably write an entire book about it—but for now, I’ll stop here. Still, I hope you can sense just how strongly I feel about Android.

Using Kotlin, I’ve started developing an Android app, with the goal of releasing it on the Google Play Store within the year. My aspiration is to eventually monetize the app and turn it into a small business. While I can’t reveal too many details yet, my hope is that it will contribute meaningfully to the evolution of blockchain technology.

This venture represents another step toward achieving financial independence—allowing me to transition from my regular job into something built entirely on my own skills, passion, and vision.

Linux Meetup sessions:

I’m currently running my own meetup groups, one of which focuses on Linux. Last year, I launched a test-run of my first course, and a British participant joined the event. That moment marked a milestone—it was the first time I earned money through a meetup I organized.

This year, I aim to expand the course to cover a broader range of Linux-related technologies, leveraging the full extent of my knowledge and skills to create additional income streams. The beauty of working in tech is that it offers real, tangible opportunities—not only to share what you know but to turn that expertise into financial gain.

Creativity in full swing:

With the help of AI, it’s entirely possible to launch your own creative brand. By combining tools like ChatGPT, Canva, Instagram, my DSLR camera, Lightroom, and more, I’m considering building a brand of my own—one that reflects my creative vision.

One of my initial goals is to publish and sell books, possibly on Amazon. From there, I hope to explore additional opportunities for generating income through these platforms. The possibilities are expanding, and with the right tools and mindset, creative independence feels more achievable than ever.

Eat less and exercise:

I’ve noticed that I’ve gained a bit of weight over the past couple of months, largely due to my own lack of motivation. The stress from my job had become mentally overwhelming, and as a result, I stopped exercising altogether—a decision that clearly hasn’t benefited my health.

In today’s world, I believe it’s essential for everyone to recognize the importance of mental health just as much as physical health. Personally, I’ve taken various steps to address my mental well-being, doing everything within my power to manage it responsibly.

Daily exercise not only helps reduce stress but also plays a key role in maintaining overall health. This year, I’m determined to get back in shape and elevate my life as a whole—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Conclusion:

There are so many things I want to pursue, and I can’t afford to waste another minute! From programming to creative exploration and everything in between, 2025 is the year I commit to upgrading my life on every level.

One of the most powerful traits for success is the ability to motivate yourself without relying on external validation. If you’re constantly seeking approval to define the meaning of your life, you’ll likely end up disappointed. True meaning is discovered through your own personal journey—and along the way, you’ll uncover what truly drives you.

For me, that meaning has come through Linux and Android. They’ve given me purpose, direction, and a sense of belonging in the tech world. And this year, I have a feeling I’ll discover even more.

Stay curious, stay foolish!
