Canvas of Dreams began as a photographic blog in 2016. Over time, it evolved into a blend of tech tutorials and photographs. However, I now realize that this was a misstep. I should have concentrated on essays and photography without incorporating tech tutorials.
The main reason behind this shift was largely due to COVID-19. If you have been following my blog, you know that I suffered the tragic loss of a family member due to the pandemic. As a result, I temporarily stopped going out. During this period, instead of pursuing photography, I began writing about coding tutorials, as I was eager to start something new.
However, incorporating tech tutorials into a photography-focused blog distorted its direction and compromised its consistency.
What’s next:
Moving forward, this blog will focus on essays and photography. I am considering removing my past tech tutorials to prevent confusion for future visitors. Originally, I used these tutorials as a personal memo for coding, which was not the intended purpose of this blog. If you are a tech enthusiast and have enjoyed these tutorials, I apologize, but you might want to download them for future reference.
Alternatively, there is a possibility that in the future, I might start a separate tech blog under my personal brand, where I could transfer all my tech tutorials. This would allow Canvas of Dreams to return to its roots as a blog dedicated to photographic essays.
