Be a Game Changer, Not a Winner

“So… it’s her. She’s the Game Changer for you?”
― L.M. Trio, The Game Changer

Elon Musk is known for being the richest man on the planet. But is he? As you peruse through Forbes’ list of the wealthiest individuals in the world, you’ll come across the perennial figures who have maintained their positions consistently over time. Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg.

But what if I tell you that the truly wealthiest individuals don’t even appear on the list? In fact, some of them go to the extent of compensating business magazines to ensure their names remain absent from such rankings.

Absolutely, you’re spot on. The real game changers who truly revolutionize industries often prefer to stay out of the limelight. However, please don’t misunderstand me; I’m not suggesting that wealth is the sole determinant of value. It’s merely one facet of our lives.

I employed the wealthiest individuals as a metaphor, but the essence lies in the excitement of changing the game rules instead of merely concentrating on winning it.

Learning Algorithms and beyond:

If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you might have observed that I’ve begun sharing coding tutorials, particularly focusing on algorithms. It’s possible that none of my coworkers share an inclination to delve into algorithmic learning. It’s often seen as intricate, repetitive, and lacking in excitement. But is that truly the case? Personally, I find algorithms to be more than just a coding foundation; they also serve as a fundamental framework for cultivating logical thinking in a broader sense.

This concept can also be extended to my engagement with learning algebra. I wouldn’t deny that a significant driver behind my continuous pursuit of STEM subjects is rooted in my inherent apprehension of falling behind in the ever-competitive realm of technology.

However, its significance lies in reshaping the landscape. While my colleagues at the workplace are primarily dedicated to earning the trust of their supervisors, I’ve been channeling my efforts into personal projects and supplementary learning endeavors outside of my job.

Once more, I ask you not to misconstrue my intentions. I could be wrong, but I am confident in my path. And, more significantly, I am well aware of the direction my journey should take.

To substantiate my rationale, when I showcased my coding endeavors and projects on GitHub via LinkedIn, I garnered a higher degree of interest from business proprietors and recruiters than I had initially anticipated.

If you possess the qualities required to truly revolutionize the landscape, you need not actively vie for attention within the competition. Instead, attention will naturally gravitate towards you.

Keep this in mind: the more effortlessly something can be gained, the more swiftly it can fade into insignificance.

Grass on the other side is always greener:

This is just an afterthought… but if the grass on the other side is greener, water the grass you’re standing on.
