Osaka in Rain

“It’s faith in something and enthusiasm for something that makes a life worth living.”
― Oliver Wendell Holmes

Hi guys. It’s been a little while since I lasted posted here. Why? Well, it was neither because I was lazy nor lost passion for blogging. It was simply because there were so many things I was interested in, and I decided to commit myself to my passions instead of blogging. But hey, I’m back here now (Yay)!

So where have I been? Well, for most of the entire October, I was learning HTML and CSS to learn basic web skills; and that’s not for Canvas of Dreams, but for accomplishing my dream as being a web developer. When it comes to coding, I was more interested in data science or app development with Python and Java respectively. But I just realized there are a bunch of more demands for web development than Python-related activities.

Also, accomplishing basic web skills isn’t anything to do with Canvas of Dreams. My current intention is to develop my writing, photography and web-development skills altogether with this blog. Canvas of Dreams has been a place to share my thoughts with the world, including my close friends and family. At the same time, this place should be somewhere I can experience personal growth through interaction with my friends and web-development skills.

Since the last month, I’ve been through a LOT: unexpected encounters with fascinating people, a constant cycle of failures, the return of friends from overseas, a new relationship, and a new goal for a better future. Even though I haven’t updated Canvas of Dreams as much as I did back in the earlier months of this year, the last two months of my life was just like a roller coaster.

And here I am. There are so many things I want to share now with you guys. Because there is a reader like you, I can keep writing and photographing. It seems like I totally lost the direction of this article, but what I want to say is that I think I’m okay. And I hope you’re also doing fine. Do you enjoy your life? Did you find something you can be passionate about? Did you find someone you love? Is that your family? Is that your girlfriend/boyfriend? No matter who that is, be kind to them. It’d be awesome if you find someone you can share your enthusiasm and dreams.

Lastly, I’ve been to Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe during the last couple of days. My trip to the Kansai region was overall great. But more than anything, what matters is that I think I found myself on the trip. I don’t exactly know what is, but I just thought I’m doing fine with my life. That’s because there’s this thing that’s been on my mind for a while… But by traveling cities away from my home, I was somewhat able to get myself sorted out. So, if there’s something bothering you, just bring your bag and camera/phone, and go travel somewhere you’ve never been before. Maybe it helps you clear your mind.

Here are some shots I photographed in Osaka during rain. As I wrote before, a rainy day is a perfect day for photography.
