A Slow Sunday Afternoon in July

“When a day that you happen to know is Wednesday starts off by sounding like Sunday, there is something seriously wrong somewhere.”
― John Wyndham, The Day of the Triffids

Hi guys. It’s been a while since I last posted here. As for myself, July has been sort of a slow month. Nothing has dramatically changed except for the fact that I changed my workplace.

And my life has been a little boring on the surface. Get up in the morning, go to work, do work stuff, get lunch, go home, surfing the Internet, studying coding…

But deep down, many thoughts came through my mind. And life is just like that. On the surface, you never know what someone else is going through at any given moment. And their stories are every bit as mysterious as yours.

Everything has reasons. At first, they seemed meaningless, but they eventually add up to something. Something that matters to your life.

The evenings you spent alone. Those hours you spent writing novels no one would read. Those lonely nights you spent reading manga and watching anime. Those nights you spent socializing with your friends from college you never see any longer. Those lovely nights you spent with your girlfriend.

Every moment of your life has shaped who you are and has led you to every success you’ve ever had. Think about how far you’ve come. And life goes on. Let’s keep walking, lerning and growing.

Last but not least, here are shots I photographed in Yokohama in July. It has been a joy to keep photo-journaling my home city…
