“Ah coffee. The sweet balm by which we shall accomplish today’s tasks.”
― Holly Black, Ironside: A Modern Faery’s Tale
It has been two years since I attended Tokyo’s biggest coffee event since 2017. Since I was in the US for my work last year, I missed the one in 2018. The annual festival features 60 stalls selling coffee and lets visitors taste a wide variety of coffee with an original mug of the festival. As always, the venue was United Nations University in Shibuya, Tokyo. What is interesting about the event is that you can actually interact with those coffee sellers and learn the background stories of coffee beans.
