A Rainy Day Walk

“Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.”
― Bob Marley

It was a rainy day in my city. The sidewalks were full of puddles, and the sun was buried behind the clouds. As I posted a series of rainy photos last year, I love photographing urban scenes on a rainy day.

When I arrived at Yokohama Station, I heard the rain thrumming on the roof. I wondered if I should hop on the subway. But somehow a part of me didn’t want to miss a single moment of what it feels like walking all the way up to the downtown on a rainy day. So, I began walking, heading south-west.

As I made my way up to the Yokohama Museum of Art, I found myself seeing something dramatic in people walking in rain. Rain holds all sorts of different emotions, and there certainly is something romantic about it.

Although a walk through rain is not medically advised, it may help you clear your mind. If you hold something in your mind, try walk on a rainy day. Maybe it could wash away your problems and inspire you to rise up once again…
