“Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn’t.”
― Mark Twain, Following the Equator: A Journey Around the World
June 2018 was a hard month to get through. During May, my predecessor had been handing over his duties and responsibilities to me, but he went back to Japan at the end of the month. June, therefore, was the very first month I had to get my job done without his help. And yet I survived. Even though there are still many rooms for improvement, I feel that every inch of my experience here makes me grow up in many ways. Crossing the waters to come to the US was a now-or-never chance, and as far as I know, I made the right choice. I don’t want to regret it, and to do so all I can do now is to keep moving forward. I don’t know what the future holds, but this is my life, my mistake, and my success. Here are some of my photos I took during weekends at restaurants, bars and so forth.
