“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.”
― Dorothea Lange
As the year of 2017 is drawing closer to an end, we’re preparing ourselves for the next year with faith and hope. For me personally, 2017 was an interesting year as much as the previous years. New beginnings and goals, meeting and parting, and many more accomplishments. But there was something I left to do during this year, street photography. Since I have been busy preparing for travel to the US and studying for programming certifications during the third quarter of this year, I didn’t have much time for photography. To be precise, I was almost losing my passion for photography as I’ve been more into the computing world. But things have a little-changed ever since I got a new lens: SIGMA Art 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM. Thanks to the lens, it seems that everything I see could be a photograph. It’s such a joy to walk across Tokyo with this new lens to capture moments of my urban life. Since I took more than 400 snapshots, I will keep uploading my work in the future posts as well. Here is the first set of snapshots of Dec. 27.
