“The whole point of taking pictures is so that you don’t have to explain things with words.”
― Elliott Erwitt
Shinjuku, Tokyo, is an amazing place for urban photography. Thanks to its skyscraper district, which is one of the tallest urban areas of Japan, the district provides a unique and fascinating subject to photographers.
Despite the fact that those inorganic architectures could look cool and neutral, they also could look like something else living and breathing, depending on the viewing angles. As I showcased you in a previous post, Nishi-Shinjuku, I captured the same buildings from different angles with wide angle lens that allowed me to photograph the whole image of the supertalls.
