Panoramic Views of Shinjuku

“Photographs tell a story,” Alison mutters. “But people forget to read between the lines.”

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (Tokyo Tocho in Japanese) in Shinjuku, Tokyo, provides amazing panoramic views of the city. The skyscraper is 243 meters high and has twin towers, which house observatory decks respectively.

From the observatories, not only the skyscrapers I showcased you in my previous posts, Photowalk across Shinjuku and Nishi-Shinjuku, but also other landmarks of the city can be seen, even including Mt. Fuji. Both have cafes and souvenir shops, and the north tower stays open until late at night, providing an ideal spot for night views of the megalopolis.
