Kagurazaka

Kagurazaka is a shopping and dining district built on a sloping street in Tokyo near Kagurazaka/Iidabashi station. During the Edo period, the district was situated outermost from the Edo Castle as well as prosper as an entertainment district with a plenty of geisha houses and restaurants. Some of those houses still survive, and you may find them when walking across the district.
